Mr. Hejingneng , the discoverer, creator and spreader of the White-Bud Qilan tea , founded the Yuanshan tea factory in Pinghe County.
The Whit-Bud Qilan tea had won the Tech-Improving award in 1994-1995 for its Selecting Material and Extending. The brand of Pengxi Tea is recognized as a famous trademark by The Zhangzhou Goverment. Because of high mountain, good soil, full of fog and rain, Mr. Hejingneng thought the west of Fujian is the superior advantage for planting the White-Bud Qilan Tea. Until now, there are more than 10000 mu. to plant it.
